Jobsite Stud Welding is a division of New Age Fastening Systems, Inc. We offer highly experienced union personnel and one of the largest fleets of field equipment on the East Coast enabling us to be your most responsive applicator and Studwelding source.
Our stud size capabilities of up to 1″ diameter, and our fleet of diesel and battery powered units provides the mobile power required for your Studwelding applications. Typical construction projects requiring our services include; bridges, buildings, steel platforms, levys, pilings, water towers, crane runs, subways, tunnels, etc…
Our time saving, cost reducing invention, the “Rapid Ferrule”, has revolutionized how the construction industry places a ferrule on steel beams and corrugated decking by allowing the operator a bendfree, ergonomically correct way to dispense the ferrule accurately.
The buildings pictured on the left had 3/4″ shear connectors welded through corrugated decking and 1/2″ deformed bars welded to pour angles. Structures erected with steel typically require our Studwelding service. The studs welded serve as a concrete anchor while also adding shear strength to the steel.
This train station platform had 7/8″ shear connectors welded to top flanges and 3/4″ welded horizontally. The studs are welded to new structures or as in this case to existing ones needing reinforcement.
On water towers and other cellular sites, threaded studs are welded for the purpose of attaching antennas and waveguide mounts. We presently support most of the antenna and cabling contractors in the Northeast and have become their most respected and reliable Studwelding source.
Here is our PATENTED Rapid Ferrule being used on corrugated decking. Ferrules can be dispensed from any angle with the capacity of 100 loaded at a time. This system also has attachments for breaking the ferrule and punching holes in the deck for drainage. The tool has made our service more efficient and has added to the credibility of our Jobsite Division.
